So here's the latest update on this joker piece. Added a bit more textures, tweaked the colours, and a few touch ups here n there. Below it is a speed painting from a few days ago of batman begins. I used a reference for it, done in just under an hour or so.

Here's the reference.

some practice

doodled these in sketchbook pro.... just your basic practice with values.
easier than scanning in actual pencils and then adding digital tones.

updates on the JOKER

Here we go, tried resizing a few features, slight skin texturing, and a pretty fast colour version....i'll probably leave it as it is, and paint a more original one from scratch. Thanks for looking!

The Joker is fun with MS PAINT.

Ok i lied, i actually used Photoshop. Grayscale painting that took me about 3.5 hours, and i look forward to colourizing it. Just above it is the photo reference i used. Now that i look at it again i missed a few shadow areas, and his nose is a tad large...and there are probably other things wrong with him too. Obviously it's lacking a bit of texture also..

Any comments, crits? Rip me a new one. ....ok his nose is REALLY bugging me now..i'm gonna fix it and colour it...stay tuned

Finally an's been a while, been really busy lately. Did these while at the library yesterday...

The ninja turtle looks weird and flipped horizontally, and the bearded man at the bottom looks funny. I think his eyes are too large and close together. ah well...
